The Information Technology (IT) Department is responsible for delivering technology resources that align with the District’s mission and strategies.  This involves leading District-wide efforts to improve the effective use of technology by collaborating with users from all departments to implement efficient and practical solutions.  The IT Department is also responsible for the operations, maintenance, and support of the following:

  • Desktop, Laptop, Mobile devices
  • Servers, Storage, and Network systems
  • VoIP Phone system
  • Email, Database, Web, and Mobile systems
  • Access Control and Security systems
  • District’s Website

The IT Department also supports various business system applications including Customer Information System (CIS), Geographic Information System (GIS), Asset and Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), and other department-specific applications.

The primary focus of the IT Department is to provide a secure and reliable networking and computing environment for the District.  As new technology becomes available, the IT Department strives to research, analyze, implement, and support effective and innovative solutions that enable the District to better serve its customers.  The goal of the IT Department is to be a collaborative partner that enables all other departments within the District to provide its many services in the most effective and efficient manner.
